Smit Chitra Travels

Smit Chitra Travels is located at 9 M G Road, right on New Nagardas Road and very close to the Parel St Depot. Being so near the depot means we are always in the middle of the travel rush. We’ve been operating from this M G Road spot for a long time, helping people figure out their bus routes or booking a car for a family trip. Our office is small and usually has a few people waiting around for their tickets or asking about schedules. It’s a busy place with the sound of buses and horns constantly in the background. We have a lot of maps and old calendars on the walls. Most of our work involves talking on the phone with drivers or checking the latest timings for the state transport buses. We don't have a big fancy waiting room, just a couple of wooden benches for people to sit on while we get their paperwork ready. Working near Parel St Depot means we meet people from all over who are just passing through. It’s a lot of work making sure everyone gets where they need to go on time. Sometimes things get delayed because of traffic or a vehicle breakdown, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out with the travelers. It’s just how the travel business goes. We stay open pretty late to make sure the last travelers of the day are taken care of before we finally close the shutters and go home ourselves.
