Our little spot is over in Andheri East, specifically in the Sakinaka area near the Pump House. If you know the police chowki there, we are right opposite it at number 41398. Being a courier place means we are constantly surrounded by cardboard boxes and rolls of brown packing tape. The traffic in Sakinaka is famous for being some of the worst in the city, so getting our delivery bikes out can be a real headache. We spend our mornings sorting through piles of envelopes and packages that need to go all over the place. It is a small shop, and it gets pretty cramped when the big shipments arrive in the middle of the day. We do not have any fancy signs, just the usual stuff you expect at a local desk. People come in looking stressed because they need to send something urgently to another city. We try to help them out, weigh their stuff, and get the labels printed. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet is slow, and we just have to deal with it as it happens. It is not a glamorous job, but someone has to make sure the mail moves. We see all kinds of people, from office workers to students sending documents back home. Most of the time, we are just busy taping things up and making sure the addresses are readable. We stay open pretty late to catch the last drop-offs. It is just part of life here.
