Padmalaya Impex

We are based at Padmalaya Impex, which is located in Flat No. 306, M2/ B, in the New Mhada Colony. This is over in Pratiksha Nagar, Sion East. It’s a residential area, so our office feels more like a home than a corporate building. We have turned the rooms of the flat into our working space for all the import and export tasks we handle. Most of the day is spent on the phone or on the computer, tracking shipments and talking to people. Since we are in a Mhada colony, the atmosphere is quite local. You can hear the kids playing outside and the sounds of the neighbors going about their lives. Sion East is a well-connected part of Mumbai, so it makes sense for us to be here, even if it’s just a flat on the third floor. We have boxes of samples stacked in the corners and files piled on the dining table. It is not a polished office with a glass door, but it works for what we do. We usually take our breaks on the small balcony to get some air. Pratiksha Nagar has a lot of energy, and we have been part of this community for a while now. We just do our business quietly from 306 and make sure the imports and exports are moving as they should without making a big scene about it.
