Singh Railway Parcel Service is located in Bandra East, right on the 18th Cross in K E Colony. We are pretty close to the tracks, which makes sense given what we do every day. The area around K E Colony is a mix of homes and small businesses, so it’s always got a bit of a buzz and noise. Our daily routine involves a lot of heavy lifting and moving wooden crates around the floor. We handle all sorts of parcels that come in through the railway network from all over. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the paper records and sit down for a minute when the work slows down. We deal with a lot of different people, from individuals sending a small box to family members to businesses with huge loads. Bandra East can be quite a scramble, but we’ve managed to carve out our own spot here on the 18th Cross. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we know exactly how the railway system works. It’s not a soft job by any means; you have to be ready to work with your hands and get a bit dirty. We don’t use any corporate slogans or make big promises. We just take the parcels, write out the slips, and get them moving on the next train. The colony is a tight-knit place, and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a busy, gritty kind of work, but we are used to the rhythm of the trains.
