Neelkamal Alloys Llp is situated on the ground floor at Shop No- 6B, 24/26 Sindhi Lane. We are right opposite the Municipal School, so we hear the school bell and the kids playing during their breaks. Sindhi Lane is a very specific kind of place, full of shops like ours dealing in hardware and metals. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot of stuff into it. You’ll find all sorts of alloy products stacked up wherever there’s space. It’s a ground-floor unit, which makes it easier for loading and unloading, though the lane is so narrow that trucks can’t really get in. We have to use smaller carts to move things. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving metal pieces around. The shop is usually a bit dusty, and there’s always the smell of industrial metal in the air. We sit at our small desks in the back and handle the customers who walk in. Most of the people we deal with are regular buyers who have been coming to this area for years. We don't have fancy lights or a big display. It’s just a practical shop where we sell what we have and keep our records in order. The day starts early and ends when the rest of the lane shuts down. It’s a simple, hardworking life in a very busy part of the city. We just deal with the metal and the daily bustle of Sindhi Lane.
