Signature Event

Signature Event is located over near Mumbai Central. We are at 658, 68/1, in Kailash Nagar. It’s a very old part of the city. Everything feels a bit squeezed together here. The building we are in has these narrow hallways where you have to turn sideways if someone else is coming the other way. We’ve been here for a long time. The office itself is just one large room with a high ceiling and big windows that let in a lot of dust from the street traffic. We have a few old cupboards where we keep all the files and some decorations from past jobs we did. There is no air conditioning, just the big ceiling fans that have been there since before I started. They make a clicking sound that you eventually stop hearing after a while. We don't use any fancy management software or anything like that, mostly just notebooks and pens for our lists. It’s how we’ve always done it. Sometimes the neighbors come in to borrow a stapler or just to chat about the local news. It’s that kind of neighborhood where everyone knows everyone else. Mumbai Central is always busy, so there is no shortage of things to look at out the window when we take a break. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s our life here in Kailash Nagar.
