Sign Tech

Our little shop, Sign Tech, is located out in Trombay, specifically in the Pabla Bhaji Pala Wadi area of Tandalja. It's near the Sion-Panvel stretch, so there's always a lot of movement around us. If you’re looking for us, you just have to find the spot where the vegetable market activities are happening. We’ve been making signs here for quite some time now. It’s a messy business with paint and vinyl scraps everywhere, but we manage to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just like making things that people can see from the road. The workshop gets a bit cramped when we have a big project going on, and sometimes the smell of the ink is pretty strong. We spend a lot of time at our benches, cutting letters and fixing frames. It’s a local operation, so we know a lot of the people who walk by every day. We don’t have a website with a bunch of fancy photos or a person answering phones with a script. Usually, someone just shouts if the phone rings over the noise of the cutters. We just take the orders as they come in and try to make sure they look decent. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when a job needs to be finished, but that’s just how it is.
