Shruti Events is over in Crystal Plaza in Andheri West. We are in Door No C/311. It’s a very busy building, especially being so close to Infinity Mall and Ganga Nagar. If you’ve ever been on Bhargav Road, you know exactly how the traffic can get in the evenings. Our office is where all the actual planning happens. We spend a lot of time on the phone with decorators, caterers, and florists. It’s a lot of lists and clipboards everywhere you look. We aren't some high-end luxury firm; we just help regular people get their parties or weddings sorted out. Sometimes it gets quite stressful when a delivery is late or the weather doesn't want to behave for an outdoor function. But we’ve done this enough times now to know how to handle the hiccups. The office is usually filled with samples of fabrics or pictures of different stages we’ve set up in the past. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is kept. We started doing events because we liked seeing things come together. Andheri is a great place to be because everything we need is close by. We are right in the middle of all the action. We don't promise any miracles, just that we will show up and do exactly what we said we would do. It’s hard work and very long hours, but seeing a happy family at the end of a function makes it feel right.
