Bombay Machiney & Hardware Mart

Our place is located on Old Post Office Lane in Shrirampur. It is an older part of the town. We deal in machinery and hardware. It is a bit of a mix of things. We have been here on this specific lane for a very long time. Most people around here know us as the Bombay Machinery & Hardware Mart. That is quite a mouthful to say, so most of the locals just call us the hardware shop on the lane. We carry various bits and pieces for machines and general hardware needs for the house. The shop itself is quite old-school. It is definitely not one of those shiny new places you see in the big cities. We have shelves that are stacked high with all sorts of metal parts. Sometimes it takes us a minute or two to find exactly what a customer is asking for, but we usually have it buried somewhere. Shrirampur is a fairly quiet place most days, but our lane gets its fair share of foot traffic. We open up early and stay until the evening. We do not really do any advertising. People just know we are here. It is a family-run kind of vibe, very informal. We talk to the neighbors and help out with whatever technical questions come up. It is just a steady, honest business. We do not have any big corporate goals. We just sell hardware and machinery parts to folks who need them.
