Shri Krishna Pan Shop

Shri Krishna Pan Shop is right here in Ghatkopar East, specifically at Zaveri Bazar 41/1/1 in Vallabh Society on the 90 Fe road. It’s a small corner, really. I spend my time mostly sorting through beetle leaves and keeping the jars of sweets and supari filled up. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so it gets pretty warm under the awning. Regulars stop by after their meals or just to chat for a minute while I’m folding the pans. There is always noise from the street, bikes zooming past and people walking to the market. It’s a busy spot near the society gates. I’ve lived around here long enough to know most of the people who walk by every day. The shelves are a bit cluttered with all the different containers, but I know where everything is. Some days are slower than others, but usually, there's a steady trickle of folks. I don’t use any fancy machines, just my hands and a small cloth to keep the counter clean. It’s a simple way to earn a living in Ghatkopar. The 90 Fe road never really sleeps, and neither does this little shop. Sometimes I run out of ice or certain leaves, and I have to wait for the next delivery to arrive. It's just a normal part of running a local business in a place like this, and we keep at it day after day without much fuss.
