Shreenath Sweet Farsan

We are located at Shop No 6 in the New Diamond Building over in Dahisar East. This place is usually filled with the smell of fried snacks and sugar. We’ve got the farsan in big glass jars and the sweets lined up in the display cases. It's not a huge shop, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Swapnapurti is a busy little area, so there’s always someone poking their head in to see what’s fresh today. We spend a lot of time weighing out bags of sev and gathiya for people. The floor can get a bit oily because that's just what happens when you sell farsan all day. We try to keep things moving quickly, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work and wants something to eat with their evening tea. Our counters are stainless steel and we spend a lot of time polishing them. The New Diamond Building is easy to find, and we've been in this specific shop for quite a bit. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just the scales, the bags, and the food. Sometimes the labels on the jars get a bit crooked or peeled, but we know exactly what’s inside. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and chatting with the regulars about their day. We just keep the snacks ready and the doors open for whoever comes by.
