Rahul Optical Company

Rahul Optical Company is located at Shop No. 7 in Shreeji Arcade. We are right at the junction where M. G. Road and S. V. Road meet. It is a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of honking and people rushing by outside the doors. The arcade is an older building, but it stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is out. We have a small shop front where we keep the glasses and all the different frames. It is not a big showroom like the ones you see in the new malls. It is a bit more personal here. I have been working at this spot for a long time. Some of the regular customers have been coming to us for years to get their eyes checked or to pick out new frames. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us helping out every day. The space is a bit tight, especially when more than three people walk in at the same time. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything is in the right place. Sometimes the traffic at the junction makes it hard for people to park their cars, so many of our customers just walk over from the nearby shops. We do not do much advertising. We just rely on being in a good spot. We open the shutters every morning and stay until late.
