You can find us at the Dadarkar Building on N C Kelkar Marg. We are right near the Shivaji Park Post Office in Dadar West. It’s a very familiar area for most people in Mumbai. Shree Swami Samarth Caterers & Decorator has been here for a good while. Dealing with food and decorations means we are always on our feet. The kitchen gets hot and the storage area for the decor is always packed to the ceiling. We don't have a fancy showroom. Usually, customers just come in to talk about what they need for their upcoming functions. Dadar is always crowded, so getting our trucks in and out can be a real headache sometimes. But being near the park is nice because it’s such a landmark. We handle the cooking and the setting up ourselves. It’s manual work, and it’s tiring. Sometimes we are up late preparing for a breakfast service or finishing a stage setup. We use simple ingredients and standard materials that we’ve used for years. We aren't into those new-age trends that don't last. We just stick to what we know works for a decent party. Our neighbors in the building are used to the smell of spices and the sound of crates moving. It’s a local business, run by local people. We just want to make sure the food is hot and the chairs are straight and the place looks okay for the guests.
