Shree Krishna Cinema

Shree Krishna Cinema is located out in Bhandup West, specifically around 14th Main in Manjunath Nagar. It's a bit of a trek for some, but for the local folks here in the 3rd stage, it’s the place they know. We’ve been showing movies for a long time. The building shows its age a bit, but we keep the seats fixed and the sound system working as best as we can. It’s a family-run thing, really. My uncle used to run the ticket booth and now I oversee the whole place. We don’t have those massive screens like the malls, but people seem to like the atmosphere here. It feels like the old days. Saturday nights are usually the loudest because everyone brings their families and the kids run up and down the aisles. We spend a lot of time cleaning up popcorn and empty bottles after the late show finishes. The lobby gets quite hot when the crowds are thick, but that's just part of the experience. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people just walk by and look at the posters to see what is playing. It’s a simple cinema for regular people who just want to watch a film and relax for a couple of hours without spending a fortune. We’re just glad to be a part of the neighborhood after all these years of keeping the projector running every day for the local crowd at number 6.
