Essel World

Borivali West is where you’ll find us. Essel World is a name people recognize, but for those of us working here, it’s just the place we go every morning. We walk through the gates before the crowds get there. It’s strange seeing everything so still. The air in Borivali West is a bit different, maybe because we are closer to the coast. You can smell the salt sometimes. We spend a lot of time checking things. Making sure everything is in its place. There’s a lot of walking involved. My boots wear out pretty fast. We don’t really do the whole corporate speech thing. We are just the people who keep the gears turning. Sometimes the machines are loud, and you have to shout to be heard. We wear hats to keep the sun off our faces. By the afternoon, it gets pretty hot. We find shade where we can. It’s a big area to cover. Essel World has its own rhythm. You get used to the sounds of people and the hum of the park. When the day ends, we are usually pretty tired. We close up the sections and head back out to the main roads of Borivali West. It’s just a job like any other, even if it looks different from the outside. We just show up and do our part to keep it going. There is always something to fix or a path to sweep before we can finally go home to rest.
