Cinemagic

Cinemagic is over in Mahape on M V Road. It’s not exactly in the middle of everything, but we like it that way. The building is a bit older and you can tell by the way the doors creak. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day things that come up. It’s not like the movies where everything is glamorous. Most of the time it’s just us dealing with paperwork or making sure the equipment is still working. The area around M V Road has a lot of offices and industrial spots, so it gets pretty quiet at night. We have a small team and we’ve all known each other for a while. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay busy. There isn’t much of a story about how we started. Someone had the space and we just began. We don’t have any big slogans or promises. We just open up and do what we are supposed to do. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear the rain hitting the roof really loud during July. It’s just a regular place of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the best. We just want to keep things going smoothly here in Mahape. It’s a plain building on a plain road.
