Shree Ganesh Sweets Farsan Mart

Our shop is located at Shop No 2 in the S B Tiwari Chawl on Old Padra Road in Jogeshwari East. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the shop has become a bit of a local fixture. We sell all the usual sweets and farsan that you’d expect. It’s a humble place, and we haven't changed much about it over the years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the glass jars are a bit old, but they hold the snacks just fine. We aren't a big chain with multiple locations. This is our only spot. We spend most of our day in the back preparing the mixtures and frying the snacks. It’s hard work and the kitchen stays very hot, especially during the summer months. We don't have a marketing team or any glossy brochures. People just stop by because they like our laddoos or our spicy sev. We know the names of many of the families living in the chawl and the surrounding buildings. Sometimes we run out of certain items if there’s a big puja or a wedding nearby. We try to keep our prices low so that everyone in the neighborhood can afford a little treat now and then. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and focus on making sure the taste is consistent every single day.
