Down here in Vikhroli East, things are always moving. We are right opposite Building No 35 in Tagore Nagar, specifically at Manjunatha Nagar. You can find us near the 4th Main and 8th Cross in the 2nd Phase. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t from around here, but we like the neighborhood. Our shop, Shree Bhavani Decorators Caterers, is usually full of stacked chairs and big cooking pots. You can usually smell what we’re prepping for the next day from the street. We’ve been handling food and decorations for a long time. It started small and just kept going as more people asked us for help. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the guys who help with the heavy lifting and the cooking. The mornings start very early because the fresh vegetables come in before the sun is even up. We spend a lot of time cleaning things and checking our inventory. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, especially during the monsoon when we have to move all the fabrics inside quickly. We know most of the neighbors. People stop by just to say hello or ask about a date for their next party. It’s a simple life. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just make sure there’s enough food and the tents stay up. If things get hectic, we just drink some tea.
