We are located in Dadar, not too far from Chitra Talkies. It is a busy part of town, and there is always something happening out on the streets. Shemaroo Entertainment has been around the block a few times now. We deal with movies and videos, mostly. The office at the Ahmed Sailor building is where all the hard work happens. It is full of old tapes and new digital files piled up. We have a lot of history in this building. People in the neighborhood know us because we have been in this industry for such a long time. It is not a shiny new startup; it is a place where people actually know their stuff. We spend our days looking at content and figuring out where it needs to go next. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, and sometimes the snacks in the breakroom run out, but we keep at it. We are just a group of people who really enjoy the world of entertainment. It is a lot of hours spent in front of glowing screens, but we would not really want to do anything else. Dadar is our home, and we are glad to be right in the middle of it all. It can be a bit chaotic with the noise from the talkies and the traffic, but that is just the energy of the city. We have seen the industry change a lot, but we are still here.
