Shayne Rego

My name is Shayne Rego and I am based at Flat No 2 in the Wave Lash building. It is on St John Baptist Road in Bandra West. If you know the area, we are near the Kansara Chawl and quite close to that restaurant called Bungalow 9. Bandra West is a place with a lot of narrow lanes and old houses mixed with new buildings. Wave Lash is one of those spots that has been around. The flat is on the lower floor, which is convenient. It’s not a corporate office. It’s a place where I get things done in a more relaxed way. The neighborhood has a lot of character, with the old chawl nearby and the fancy restaurants just down the street. Sometimes it’s noisy with people walking to the nearby spots, but it usually settles down. I’ve lived and worked in this part of Mumbai for a long time. It’s got a specific vibe that you don't find elsewhere. I don't have a big team or anything. It's just me handling my business from Flat 2. I like the fact that everything is within walking distance. If you are looking for Wave Lash, just head towards St John B and look for the landmarks. It’s a very grounded way to work, right in the heart of the community. There are always cats wandering around the garden outside the building, and it feels like a real home.
