Serva Mangala Decorators

Our place is in Saraf Chaudari Nagar over in Kandivali East. Serva Mangala Decorators has been around the neighborhood for a good bit now. We spend most of our time dealing with tents, chairs, and all the stuff you need for a local function. Our warehouse is full of folded fabrics, light strings, and stacks of plastic seating. It’s usually a bit of a mess because we are always coming back from one event or heading out to another. Most of the work happens outside at the venues, so the office in Kandivali is really just where we store the gear and take some notes. We aren’t decorators who do high-end fashion shows; we mostly handle weddings, neighborhood festivals, and small parties. We know the local grounds and community halls quite well. The guys are used to lifting heavy poles and climbing ladders even when it’s raining. We don’t have a website with professional photos. Most people just call us or stop by the gate because they saw our name on a backdrop at a friend's wedding. It’s a lot of physical labor and late nights during the wedding season. When it's quiet, we spend our time repairing the cloth or painting the wooden frames. We just keep things moving and make sure the stage stays up. It’s a simple business but it keeps us on our feet every single day.
