Serdia Pharmaceuticals

Serdia Pharmaceuticals is based out of the Sungrace building in Raheja Vihar. It’s a bit tucked away in Chandivali, which is part of the larger Powai area. Our office at D 214 is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day coordination. It’s actually a pretty nice area with more trees than you usually see in this part of Mumbai. The vibe here is a mix of people living in the apartments and people working in the offices. We spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with logistics for our products. It’s not like a big factory or anything, just a professional space where we keep things organized. The commute into Chandivali can be a bit of a pain because the roads are narrow, so we all try to get in early. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, filing cabinets, and the sound of keyboards. We have a small pantry where we drink way too much tea during the afternoon slump. It’s a steady kind of job. We don’t really interact with the public much, just our regular suppliers and the delivery guys who bring the mail. The building is well-kept, which is nice. Sometimes after work, a few of us walk down towards the lake area just to get some fresh air. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to get their tasks done before the weekend hits and we all head home.
