Our office is in Periera House, Room No 2, right on Sitladevi Temple Road in Mahim. We are tucked in next to the Saraswat Bank, so it is easy enough to find if you are looking for us. Mumbai is a tough place for cars, so we spend our time figuring out how to fit them all in. It is not a fancy job, but it is necessary. We deal with the logistics of parking lots and making sure the systems actually work so people do not get stuck at the gate. The office is small and usually has a few stacks of tickets or some spare parts for the barriers lying around. Being in Mahim means we are close to everything, but the traffic can be a real headache in the mornings. We do not have a big corporate structure here; it is just a handful of us making sure the parking sites are running okay. Most of the day is spent on the phone or out at different locations checking on things. We have a regular routine, and we try to keep it simple. It is about making sure the space is used right and people's cars are where they should be. It is practical, everyday work that does not need a lot of explaining. We are just here in Mahim doing our bit to keep the streets a little less cluttered. It’s what we know best and we just keep at it.
