Satyam Book Seller & Stationers

We have our shop at number 5 in the Kharade Apartment building. It is on Station Road in Goregaon East, which is a very hectic place to be. Being near Anupam Cinema means there are always crowds around, especially on the weekends when new movies come out. Satyam Book Seller & Stationers is a small spot, but we try to keep a good variety of things on the shelves. We have everything from simple pens to thick notebooks stacked up everywhere. The space is a bit narrow, so if two people are standing in the aisle, it gets a little tight. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that move the air around as best as they can. The noise from the trains at the station is something you eventually stop noticing after a few months. Most of our customers are locals who live in the apartments nearby or people catching a train who realized they forgot a pen or a diary. We spend a lot of time organizing the stationery so it doesn't look like a total mess. It is hard to keep it tidy when people are constantly browsing through things. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Goregaon, just a reliable one where you can get what you need without a fuss. It’s just us here, working through the pile of tasks every day and making sure the shop stays open for whoever drops by.
