A Book Company

We are over in Bandra East at the Chathali Co-operative Housing Society. Our space is specifically Room No 10 in the Teachers Colony. Being right near the Western Estate Highway makes it easy to reach us, though the traffic can be a nightmare at certain times of the day. A Book Company is not a big bookstore with aisles and cafes. It is more of a focused workspace where we handle our book business. The room is filled with stacks of books from the floor to almost the ceiling. We have to be careful how we move around so we do not knock anything over. It is a bit cramped, but it works for what we do. We spend hours cataloging and sorting through different titles. The neighborhood is mostly residential, with a lot of teachers living nearby, which fits our name quite well. We do not have any fancy signs or flashy windows. Most people find us through word of mouth or by coming to the housing society. It is a very humble operation. We focus on the books themselves rather than trying to look like a big corporation. Life in Bandra East is fast, but inside Room 10, things are a bit more quiet and focused on the printed page. We just do our work and keep the books moving to whoever needs them next.
