You’ll find us at No. 644 on J. S. S. Road, right across from the Allahabad Bank in Dhobi Talao. It is an old part of the city and the building has a lot of character, which is a nice way of saying it’s a bit aged. We spend our time working with numbers and data. It sounds a bit dry to most people, but it’s what keeps us occupied. There are a few of us in the office, and usually, there’s a lot of clicking from keyboards and the hum of the computers. It’s not a very big space, so we all know each other’s business pretty well. The view out the window is just the busy street and the bank across the way. Dhobi Talao is always loud, with horns honking and people shouting, but once you’re inside with the fan going, it’s not so bad. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just take the records and the stats and try to make sense of them for people who need that kind of thing. It involves a lot of sitting and looking at screens. We take our breaks when we can and maybe go down for a snack from the vendors nearby. It’s a regular job. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun starts to set.
