Saptashrungi Texofab (India) Private Limited is located over in Agripada, specifically in the Ahemad Tower on Jacob Street. If you’ve ever walked down Madhavrao Gangan Street, you know how tight those lanes can be. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easier for loading things, but it also means we hear everything happening outside on the street. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of history and a lot of people moving around at all hours. Our setup is pretty simple. We have our desks, the storage areas for the fabric, and usually a few cups of tea sitting around. We don't really go for the corporate look. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the orders coming in and out. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers and making sure the texofab side of things is running okay. Dealing with logistics in this part of Mumbai is always a bit of a puzzle because the trucks can only come in at certain times. We have a small team here, and we’ve all learned how to work in a crowded space without getting in each other's way. It is a bit loud and messy sometimes, but that is how we like it. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we just want to get the fabric out to the people who need it. The building lobby is always full of deliveries, so you have to watch your step.
