Well Known Emporium

You’ll find Well Known Emporium at No. 3 Arun Bazar, right on Station Road in Santacruz West. Being so close to the station means there is never a quiet moment. People are always rushing past, and some of them pop in to see what we have. We’ve been in this spot for years. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of goods. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the aisles sometimes. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is hidden. It’s a lot of climbing ladders and reaching for boxes. We get a lot of regulars who live in the area and have been coming here since they were kids. It’s nice to see familiar faces. The shop gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that help. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in Santacruz. We like our old wooden counters and the way the light hits the front window. We spend our days helping people find specific items and tallying things up. It’s a lot of talking and moving around. We don’t use any fancy sales tactics. We just show people what we have and let them decide. It’s a busy, cramped, and friendly place to work, and we wouldn't change much about it.
