In Santacruz West, over at the Milan Co-operative Housing Society, you’ll find our office on the ground floor. Being at unit number 4 makes it easy for people to just walk right in from the street level. We’ve been S. M. S. Formulation Pvt. Ltd. for quite a while now. The space isn’t huge, but it works for what we do every day. We deal with various formulations and it involves a lot of record-keeping and checking batches. Since we are in a housing society, it feels more like a home than a cold office building. You can hear the kids playing outside sometimes or people chatting as they walk to the market. We keep our doors open when the weather is nice to let some fresh air in. There are stacks of files and some samples sitting around on the wooden desks we’ve had since we started. It’s a bit old-fashioned in here, but we like it that way. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We handle the paperwork, talk to the distributors, and make sure the logistics are moving along. It’s a lot of routine, but it keeps the business steady. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. People know us by our name and our location here in Santacruz. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing day after day.
