Our office in Model House on Proctor Road is where we sit most of the time. It is a bit of a climb to get up to A 12 but we are used to it by now. We’ve been at Grant Road for a good while and seen the area change around us. Near Congress House, the streets are always noisy and full of life at all hours. Sanjana Event Management & Entertainmen Co handles events and different entertainment stuff from this small space. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing all day long. It’s just a few of us here. We have some old chairs that don't really match and desks covered in piles of papers. People come in to talk about their weddings or small parties they want to host for their families. We write everything down in big ledgers because that’s how we’ve always done it. Across the street is Robert Money School. You can hear the kids playing during their break times. It helps keep the energy up when we have a lot of work to finish. Mumbai is a fast city but Grant Road feels even faster some days. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. There’s just a water cooler that makes a loud sound sometimes. Most days we are out on sites, but someone is usually here. If you miss the turn near the school, you have to go all the way around because of the one-way streets. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is close. The train station is just a short walk away. We just focus on getting things done for whoever walks in.
