Samrat Promotion

We’ve been here at Shop No 134 on Y M Road for a while now. If you know Masjid Bunder West, you know how busy it gets around Zakaria Masjid. It’s a lot of noise and people moving about all day long. Our space isn't huge, but it works for what we do at Samrat Promotion. Sometimes the fans don't keep it cool enough when the afternoon sun hits the Dhobi Talao side, but we manage. Most days start with opening the shutters and checking what needs to get done before the crowds really pick up. We mostly deal with local folks and businesses nearby who just need things sorted. It’s not fancy here. There are boxes piled up in the corner and the desk is always messy with papers and samples. We try to keep track of everything, though it gets hectic. My cousin helps out when he can, and we usually have tea from the stall around the corner twice a day. The location is good because people can find us easily once they get past the main masjid gate. It’s just how it is in this part of town, constant movement. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the orders go out. It’s a bit cramped when too many people come in at once, but that’s part of life in Masjid Bunder. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
