Baron India. Sakinaka Andheri East. Working in Sakinaka is a bit of a challenge because of the traffic. It’s always jammed up outside our door in Andheri East. We’ve been running things from this location for quite some time now. Our office isn't one of those shiny glass buildings you see in the magazines. It’s more of a practical space where we can actually get things done without too much fuss. Most of us take the metro or local transport to get here because parking is such a nightmare in this part of town. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and checking what needs to be sorted for the day. We’ve got a small team here at Baron India. We all know each other well and there’s no corporate hierarchy stuff going on. If a job needs doing, whoever is free just grabs it and gets to work. The building is a bit old and the stairs are steep, but it works for us. We deal with all sorts of people coming through Sakinaka. It’s a busy industrial and commercial hub, so there is always something happening. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our bit and go home to our families at the end of the day. The noise from the street is constant but you get used to it after a week or two. It's just life in Mumbai really.
