Sai Arts

Sai Arts is a small place located at number 2, S J P Road in Borivali East. It's been my workspace for a long time. The walls are usually lined with whatever project is currently being worked on. Borivali East is a crowded area, and S J P Road always has people moving about, so there's plenty of life outside the door. I spend most of my day here surrounded by brushes, paint, and various materials. It's not a showroom or anything like that, just a workshop where things get made. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the supplies lying around, but I know where everything is. People from the neighborhood stop by to check on their orders or just to see what's being painted that week. I don’t really have a set routine, I just start working when I get in and stay until the light goes. It's quiet work mostly. I've lived in this part of town for years, so I'm used to the rhythm of the street. Dealing with customers is straightforward, we talk about what they need and I tell them how long it’ll take. There aren't any big signs or flashing lights, just the name on the door. It’s a practical way to spend the day, making things by hand. I usually have tea around four and look at what’s left to finish. It's just me and the work here. I like the smell of the shop and the way the sun hits the window in the afternoon.
