Sai Amrut Fast Food Centre

Located on Mumbai M S R Road 16, our place is right in the middle of all the traffic and noise. It’s a fast-paced environment here because the road is always full of cars and people trying to get somewhere. We start our day early to make sure the kitchen is ready for the commuters. The smells of the spices usually drift out onto the sidewalk as soon as we start the burners. We don’t have much in the way of sitting space, just enough for a few people to catch their breath. Most customers are just passing through and want something they can eat on the go. We keep the water cold and the food hot, which is what most people ask for. The lighting inside is a bit bright and the tiles are old, but it’s a practical space. We spend our time managing the orders and making sure the supplies don’t run out mid-shift. It gets really loud when the buses go by, so we sometimes have to shout to hear the orders. We don’t use any complicated recipes or strange ingredients. It is just standard fare that people in Mumbai are used to eating every day. We close up once the traffic dies down and the street lights are the only thing left glowing. It is a long day but we are used to the routine of it.
