If you walk down Durgadevi Street in the 2nd Kumbharwada area, you’ll find us at 45/47. Sagardeep Alloys Ltd is right opposite Sadanand Hotel, which is a good place to grab a quick snack if you are around. This part of Mumbai is very old and the streets are quite narrow, so getting things in and out can be a real puzzle sometimes. We deal with alloys and various metal products, which means there is a lot of heavy lifting and loud clanging throughout the day. The building is old and has that classic Mumbai feel, with high ceilings and walls that have seen a lot of history. We aren't interested in being a flashy company. We just want to do our work and keep the inventory moving. It’s crowded, it’s noisy, and it gets very hot in the afternoons, but this is where we have always been. Most of the people working here have known each other for years, so it feels more like a family than a corporation. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy entrance. You just walk in past the stacks of material and find someone to talk to. We handle the paperwork in a small cabin that stays surprisingly cool despite the chaos outside. It’s a busy life in Kumbharwada but we wouldn't have it any other way. We focus on the metal and the daily grind of the local market.
