Saffron Media Pvt. Ltd. is located in Matunga at 7/93 Khosa Nivas. We are on Bhaudaji X Road, which is a fairly well-known part of this side of Mumbai. Matunga has a very specific feel to it, and our building, Khosa Nivas, fits right in with the older architecture of the area. Our office is on one of the floors there, and it’s a bit of a walk up the stairs. Inside, it’s a typical Mumbai workspace—lots of files, some old computers, and a small area where we make our tea. We’ve been here in Maharashtra for quite a while now. The 400019 area is a good place to be, though parking is always a nightmare if you’re driving. Most of us just take the train or a bus. The office isn't designed to impress anyone. It’s just where we sit down and handle the media business. We have some calendars on the wall and a few pictures from old office parties. It’s a comfortable place if you don't mind a bit of clutter. We don't use any corporate jargon or have big meetings about goals. We just look at what needs to be finished by the end of the week and get to it. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and being in a neighborhood like Matunga makes it feel more like a community than just a job. We usually leave the windows open to catch a breeze.
