Our office is situated at 181 Maulana Azad Road, right across the street from the Union Bank of India. It’s a busy part of the city, and there’s always a lot of noise from the traffic outside our windows. As an association for safety appliance manufacturers, we spend most of our time dealing with paperwork, records, and meetings. It’s not a shop where you buy things over the counter; it’s more of a hub for people in the industry to connect. We have files dating back quite a way, keeping track of different members and what’s happening in the trade. The office itself is pretty basic, with desks, some old filing cabinets, and a table for when people come by to talk. Being on Maulana Azad Road means we are centrally located, which helps when people need to drop off documents or visit. We don't do a lot of fancy events, mostly just the daily work of running the association. It’s about keeping people informed and making sure the administrative side of things is taken care of. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook with questions about regulations or membership, and we just do our best to answer them. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the busy street outside, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We have been here for years now and it suits us.
