S S Creations

We are tucked away in Room No A/32 in Indra Qureshi Nagar. It is part of Gopinath Colony No. 2, right near the JBR Medical shop. If you know the 90 Feet Road or Dharavi Road, you know it’s a place that never really stops moving. It’s a small space, just one room, but that’s all we need for S S Creations. There are always people walking by and the sound of the traffic is pretty constant. We’ve been here for a good while now. It’s not a polished office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. It’s just where we do our work. Some days it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of materials coming in, but we make it work somehow. We start early when the tea stalls are just opening up. You have to navigate the narrow lanes to find us, but once you’re here, you’ll see we are just focused on the jobs at hand. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us. We keep track of everything on paper mostly. It’s simple and it’s how we’ve always done it. Living and working in Dharavi means you learn how to use every inch of space you have. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a big sign or marketing. We just want to finish the day’s work and head home. That is how it goes for us at Gopinath Colony.
