S S Belt House

S S Belt House is located on the second floor of City Market, right on Abdul Rehman Street. Our shop number is 9, so you have to climb up some stairs to find us. It’s a bit of a tight space because we have boxes stacked everywhere. We deal mostly in belts of different kinds, some for jeans and others for formal pants. It gets pretty hot in the market during the summer months, but we have a small fan that keeps us going. Most of our day is spent unpacking shipments and talking to folks who come in looking for specific buckles or leather straps. The hallway outside is narrow, so people are always bumping into each other. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit of time now. We don't really do much advertising because people usually find us by asking the other shopkeepers in the building. It’s a loud place with lots of shouting and carts moving around. My brother and I take turns being here. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to arrive. Sometimes the light in the stairwell is broken, so it's a bit dark coming up. We just focus on keeping the stock ready for whoever stops by. It isn't a fancy showroom with glass cases, just a working shop where we get things done every day. In the evenings, the market gets even louder before everyone starts closing up.
