S R Entertainment is based out in Santacruz, specifically off Veera Desai Road. It’s a busy area and we are right in the middle of it. We do a bit of everything when it involves setting things up for people to enjoy. It’s not always easy, sometimes the gear is heavy or the schedules are tight, but we’ve been at it for a while now. The office is just a place to store things and talk to people who drop by. We spend a lot of time out on the road anyway. Santacruz is a good spot because we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily, even with the traffic being what it is. We aren't a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know the shortcuts and how to get things moving. Sometimes we are working late at night, and other times it’s early mornings. It’s just the nature of what we do. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything. Most people find us because they saw us working somewhere else or a friend told them. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially during the wedding or festival seasons, but that’s when it’s most interesting. We just show up, do the job, and move on to the next one. It’s a simple way of working and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the gear properly.
