Royal Enterprise

Royal Enterprise is a small shop located at No. 40 Mirza Street. We are Shop No. 4 inside the Topiwla Building. Mirza Street is one of those narrow, crowded places where you have to watch your step because of all the people and goods being moved around. Our shop isn’t very big, so we have to be clever about how we stack our items. Being in the Topiwla Building means we are part of a long history of traders in this area. Most days, we are just sitting here among the stock, waiting for customers or checking on orders. It gets quite loud outside with the shouting of vendors and the general bustle of the city, but that is just life here. We have a small wooden counter and a few chairs for when friends or regulars stop by to chat. The building itself is quite old, with thick walls and a bit of a damp smell when it rains, but it has a lot of character. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done with pen and paper in our big registers. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We know our neighbors and we know the rhythm of the street. From the time we open the shutters in the morning until we close them at night, it is just about being there and handling the day’s work as it comes.
