Ronak Decorators

If you go near Sholay Circle 4 in Powai, you'll probably see our stuff around on most weekends. Ronak Decorators is our small outfit. We mostly handle things for local gatherings and small family events nearby. It’s not a glamorous job, to be honest. It involves a lot of heavy lifting, moving metal poles, and folding long pieces of fabric. We keep our equipment in a small storage space nearby that stays quite dusty. My brother and a couple of local guys help me out when there’s a big setup to do. We’ve been in Powai for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and which spots get the best breeze in the evening. We don't have a big fancy website or a sales team to call people. Usually, someone just calls us because they saw our work at a wedding or a birthday party down the street last month. The work is physical and sometimes we’re up late into the night getting things ready for the next morning. We try to be reliable, even if our old truck is a bit noisy when it starts up. It gets the job done though. We’ve had some rainy days that made things difficult and messy, but that’s just how it goes with outdoor setups. We just like seeing a space look completely different after we’ve spent a few hours on it. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and we like the people around this neighborhood.
