Ritesh Steel Centre

We’re located over at Plot No. 170 on 4th Lane in the Reay Road area. It’s part of the Railway Colony in Mazgaon, which is a busy spot. Our yard is usually full of steel bars, sheets, and rods. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, so we’re always on the move. We’ve been operating out of this lane for a long time. It’s not a very quiet neighborhood with the trains and the traffic nearby, but it suits a steel business like ours. We don't have a glossy brochure or a polished sales pitch. If someone needs steel, they come in, we weigh it, and they take it. Our office is just a small cabin at the front of the plot where we keep the records. It gets pretty dusty with all the metal being moved around. The guys working here are used to the hard work and they don't complain much. We just focus on keeping the stock levels right so we don't run out of the common sizes. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time navigating the lane, but we manage to get them in and out. It’s just a straightforward steel yard, nothing more and nothing less. We spend most of our mornings just unloading new arrivals and sorting them by size and type. It's heavy work but we've gotten used to it over time. We just keep the inventory moving.
