Rising Events

Rising Events is based in the Shanti Nagar area of Landewadi in Andheri. It’s a typical Mumbai neighborhood, which means it’s always busy and there’s never enough parking. We use our space here mostly to store all the equipment we need for different local gatherings. There’s always a pile of chairs or a stack of carpets waiting to be cleaned or moved. Being in Andheri, we’re right in the thick of things. The streets around Landewadi are narrow, so moving our gear in and out is always a bit of a struggle. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. It’s a working warehouse where things get dusty and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We don’t mind it, though. It’s where we do our prep work and plan out the logistics for the next day. Most of our mornings are spent drinking tea and going over the list of items that need to be loaded into the vans. We don't have a sales team or any fancy marketing materials. People in Shanti Nagar know who we are, and that’s usually how we get our work. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, but it’s what we know. We just try to keep the equipment in working order and make sure we show up on time. That’s the reality of the work here.
