Reliance Big Entertainment Pvt Ltd is based out of Flat 201 in the Shakti Society. It’s Plot 270 on Sher-E-Punjab in Andheri East. You might expect a big media company to be in a giant studio, but we are just in this residential building. It feels a lot more like a home than an office. We have the usual stuff—desks, a few sofas for when guests come by, and stacks of papers everywhere. Andheri East is a very busy area, so there is always the sound of rickshaws and cars honking outside. It can be quite distracting when you are trying to talk on the phone. We handle a lot of different things related to movies and shows. There are always people coming in and out with scripts or contracts. The building security guard knows all of us by name now. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but it’s only the second floor, so it’s not too bad. The office gets a bit cramped when we have everyone in for a meeting. We usually have to bring in extra chairs from the other rooms. Mumbai is always hot, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. We drink a lot of water and try to stay cool while we get through the daily tasks. It’s a busy life in this little flat, but we make it work.
