Regency Inn

Lansdowne House is one of those old buildings in Colaba that has a lot of character, even if it’s a bit worn down in places. We are located at 18, M-B Marg, which is a busy little corner of the city. Being in South Mumbai means we are surrounded by all that old history and the salt air from the sea. The Regency Inn isn’t a massive place; it’s more of a tight squeeze like most things in this neighborhood. We have guests coming in from all over, some carrying big backpacks and others just here for a quick meeting. The rooms are basic because that’s all people really need when they are out exploring all day. We spend our time fixing leaky taps or making sure the front desk is covered. It can get a bit loud at night with the city sounds, but that is just Colaba for you. We don’t have any fancy brochures or big promises. We just open the doors every morning and see who walks in. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the walls have a few scuffs here and there. It’s a real place for real travelers who aren’t looking for anything shiny. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we just stay here doing our thing. It’s a simple living for us, and we quite like being right in the middle of all the noise and the people.
