Gomantak Hindu Lodge

We are situated at 366 V P Road, which is right on Lamington Road in Mumbai. Most folks know us because we are quite close to the Congress House. It’s a busy part of the city and there is always something going on outside our doors. We’ve been here for a long time and the building has seen a lot of history. This is a lodge, so we get people coming in from all over who need a place to stay or a meal. It is a very basic, no-frills kind of setup. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. We just focus on providing what's necessary. The rooms and the dining area are kept as tidy as we can manage. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who visit. Lamington Road is always loud with traffic and people, so it’s never really quiet here. We are used to the hustle and bustle by now. We don't really do any big marketing. Most people find us just by walking past or because their father or grandfather stayed here once before. It’s a family-run kind of atmosphere and we just take things one day at a time. We are just a regular lodge in a busy city, trying to provide a roof and a bed for those who need it.
