Suvidha Lodge

You can find Suvidha Lodge at Building No 197/203 on Sri Hari Girgaon Panchwati Cross Road. We are directly opposite the Jain Temple, which is a very busy spot in this part of Mumbai. The lodge has been around for quite a while now. It is an old building and the rooms are quite small, but we try to keep them tidy for whoever stays with us. There is no elevator here, so you have to use the stairs. They are a bit narrow and steep. We get a lot of people who are visiting the temple or coming to the city for small jobs. The reception area is just a small wooden desk near the front door. We keep all the records in big handwritten ledgers because that is how we have always done it. Outside on the street, it is always noisy with cars and people shouting. You can hear the temple bells ringing early in the morning, which is actually quite nice. The rooms have basic beds and a small cupboard for clothes. The bathrooms are old-style. Sometimes the water pressure isn't great, but it works. We don't have a kitchen, so guests go out to the nearby stalls to eat. It is a very basic place for people who just need a roof over their head for a night or two. It isn't a luxury hotel by any means, but it is affordable and in a central location.
