Stay Inn

Our guesthouse is tucked away in Andheri East. We are at number 247, which is right behind Tolani College. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, as you probably know if you live here. There’s always something happening on the street outside. We’ve got rooms for people who need a place to sleep without spending a fortune. It’s not a big hotel with a lobby full of flowers and marble. It’s more like a simple place that we keep ready for guests. We do much of the work ourselves and make sure the sheets are fresh for every new person. Sometimes the plumbing acts up because the building has been around for a long time, but we fix it as soon as we can. Students from the college walk past every day, and we get some of their parents staying here during exam times. It’s a simple life for us. We spend most of our time checking people in or answering the phone. The 400059 area is quite crowded, so it can be a bit noisy with the traffic at night. We don't offer fancy breakfasts or anything like that. There are plenty of food stalls nearby for that. We just provide a bed and a roof. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us working shifts. We like meeting the different travelers who come through.
