Raytex Overseas Llp is located in Chira Bazar, which is one of those old parts of Mumbai that never seems to sleep. Our address is on R.S. Navalkar Marg, in the Indra Bhuvan building. It’s a bit of a maze around here with all the narrow lanes and old buildings. We are in the 31/35 section of Tadwadi. The area is famous for its markets, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. We deal with textiles that go all over, but we are still just a small local operation at heart. The office has been here for a long time and it shows. It’s got a lot of character, and maybe a bit of dust, but it’s where we do our best work. We don't believe in using big corporate talk. We just tell people what we have and what we can do. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and making sure things are packed properly for shipping. It can get pretty loud with the street noise, but we’ve learned to ignore it. We like being in Chira Bazar because it feels like the real Mumbai. We know the neighbors and the other business owners on the street. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We just keep moving forward, one order at a time. It is a bit hectic but we wouldn't have it any other way.
